Dear Kansas Stakeholder,
Kansas State University Provost and Executive Vice President Jesse Perez Mendez invites you to attend one of the scheduled community listening sessions across the state to discuss the upcoming search for our next Dean of the College of Agriculture and Director of K-State Research and Extension (KSRE) at Kansas State University.
The following listening sessions have been scheduled:
- 9 from 9:30-10:30 at Oscar’s of Hoxie (845 Main Street, Hoxie, KS 67740)
- 9 from 2:00-3:00 in the Omar D. Angeles Endowment room in the Beth Tedrow Student Center, Garden City Community College (801 Campus Drive, Garden City, KS 67846).
- 10 from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM in the Conference Room, Southeast Research and Extension Center (25092 Ness Rd, Parsons, KS 67357)
At each listening session the Provost Mendez will provide an update on the upcoming search and answer your questions. The Provost would like to hear your thoughts on your aspirations for the college/KSRE and the opportunities and expectations of your next dean including the short and long-term priorities they should achieve, professional qualifications and personal characteristics, and the points of pride within the College, KSRE, and K-State.
